01 · THE SCOOP
Four things worth knowing.
The Chase opened Memorial Day weekend in Weston Center where The Lunch Box used to be, serving pizza and fried food to a crowd that runs from families to restaurant workers unwinding past midnight, and it is named after the owners' dog.
CTbites dropped its 2026 lobster roll guide, and the corridor is well represented, from Fjord Fish Market in Darien to Knot Norm's in Norwalk, with the state's hot-buttered style laid out against the cold Maine version.
Silvermine Arts Center in New Canaan is running "A Place for Artists" through August 20, a show tied to America's 250th that puts its own member artists front and center.
Norwalk Pizza & Pasta is marking three decades this summer, still run by the same family that opened it, a rare thing for a corridor restaurant.

ONE GOOD THING
Coffee For Good in Darien, the cafe that trains and hires adults with disabilities, is hanging a new member art show this week, so the same visit gets you a good cup and a wall worth looking at.
