Five things worth knowing.
The reimagined spot at The Mill Waterfall opens Wednesday, July 15 at 6 PM with elevated American classics and a full craft-cocktail list.
"Printmaking and the Unconventional Pathways of African American Artists" hangs work by Jacob Lawrence, Faith Ringgold and Elizabeth Catlett in the Bendel Mansion galleries through September 6.
State beaches that closed on elevated bacteria readings are back open for swimming this week, in time for the warm stretch ahead.
A fresh cedar-shingle roof caps a $179,000 restoration of the c. 1726 landmark as the Historical Society marks the house's 300th anniversary.
The Bridgeport and Port Jefferson Ferry runs Live Music Cruises Thursdays through August 20, leaving Bridgeport at 6:15 PM with a band on the deck.
